Replacing Taps at The Neal Street Restaurant

The manager at The Neal Street Restaurant gave us a call because the taps were leaking and very stiff to turn off.

The Neal Street Restaurant is a lovely place to work, the staff there are so friendly and Jamie Oliver worked for them before he was famous so it was a very interesting experience doing a plumbing job there.

Because it is a business the taps had suffered a lot of wear and tear and had to be replaced.

The area was in constant use so the job had to be done when the restaurant was closed.

I started by removing the sink so I could get the taps out.

Then I got underneath the sink, removed the backing nuts and took out the taps.

The final part of the job was to install the new taps, connect them to the water supply and then replace the sink and secure it firmly.

The people who work there tell me that the new taps are a big improvement and they enjoy using them. So I feel really happy and proud to have done a job that makes their lives easier.
